BUTTING – Metallurgically clad pipes

Such pipes are made from metallurgically clad plates, which are produced in a special process to guarantee a tight bonding between the different materials.

Ever since the mid eighties we have been producing such pipes for renowned companies all over the world, especially in the oil and gas industry. As regards the size range, we produce OD's from 114.3 mm (4") up to 1 219 mm (48") in various material combinations. Pipes can be supplied with either an external or internal cladding.

We are always open to new challenges, e. g. the production of precision riser pipes for the deepsea exploration in 2003, for which we had to break new grounds regarding welding and production technologies.
