BUTTING – Will give you a lift

Components to be used in this field must provide a high degree of operational safety and corrosion resistance, hence the use of the right material and its careful fabrication are crucial.

Due to the expert advice regarding material selection and extensive pre- fabrication of stainless steel products and the production of components ready for use, BUTTING is able to comply with the high requirements of the market. The production of special products according to the customer's requirements, a big stock of standard pipes and competitive prices have added to BUTTING's success as an acknowledged supplier of pipelines, riser  pipes, filters, flanged and threaded pipes, seal packers and well heads to customers worldwide.

A total of 3 000 tons of stainless steel pipes and components were supplied by BUTTING to the Libyan ”Great Man-Made River Project”, the world's largest ever project to obtain drinking water in the desert. Especially for this project we developed a welding process consisting of a combination of Laser and Electron Beam welding.
